About

Like most photographers, Ilse Valkoog rather stands behind the camera than in front of it. Probably the reason she became a photographer in the first place. However, taking the photography business to the next level, there is no escaping the spotlights.

To satisfy the curious minds who want to know a little more, this page sheds some light on the "when, why and how" of the images, the website and the photographer behind it.

the Website

This website was launched to replace www.sightforsoreeyes.org, a website the photographer opened in 2001. It is designed to offer an accessible showcase of the photographer's work, a profile of the photographer and a starting point for members of the general public, businesses and fellow artists to do business or join forces with the photographer.

The design choices of the website were made to reflect the photography style; clean cut, simple and graphic. Ilse designs, develops and provides content for the website herself. Standards are high and the original plan and design is often checked, because after all, as an ICT consultant in Quality Management one needs to practise as one preaches.

The website's development is ongoing. And as long as new ideas and images keep coming, probably always will be. Subscribe to the newsletter if you want to be informed about updates.
