Cromwell's doings
I often find, the best sights are those that are not on the beaten path. This impressive but dangerously dilapidated castle is located in a small bay on the Dingle peninsula and not easy to find without clear signposting. Cromwell's army attempted to destroy the castle on two occasions, the final one killing all taking shelter inside.
