Descendants of the sea
Another one of my favorite Ireland images, the Connemara mountains as can be seen from the Clare coast across Galway Bay. Conamara derives from Conmhaicne Mara, descendants of the sea. The number of different shades of blue amazes me, as well as the fact that one can take a camera to paint a picture.
