Art Deco
Grand Central Terminal's façade and the tower of the Chrysler Building complement each other beautifully in this image. The Chrysler Building is considered a masterpiece of Art Deco architecture, with its distinctive exterior ornamentation alluding to features that were then being used on Chrysler automobiles, such as hubcaps, radiator caps, car fenders and the hood ornaments resembling eagles. The interior, the building's lobby, is clad in different marbles, onyx and amber.
