Leisure time
The Temple of Heaven, constructed in the magnificent Ming architecture between 1406 an 1420, is China's most famous temple. It is situated in a 667 acre park enclosed by a wall. Once a year the emperor came here to pray for a good harvest. Today the Beijing citizens congregate in the park to exercise, talk, play games, play music or just get out in the open air.
